Our Bulls
Strong bull genetics are the backbone of any show-quality breeding program. At Just OK Ranch, our bulls are carefully selected for conformation and substance so they pass on well-built, sound, and proportional frames to their calves. We focus on structure, balance, and overall durability, because miniature doesn’t have to mean fragile—our cattle are bred to look good in the ring and hold up in the pasture.
Senior Bull:
H barrera Ranch Boudreaux
2022 IMZA/AMZA Bull
Standing 38" behind the hump, and pictured at 3 years old, Boudreaux has the balance, bone, and build to add substance and depth to your herd. His progeny are showing well with limited calves on the ground. Plenty of first and second placings at Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, State Fair of Texas, and State Fair of Louisiana in their first year in the showpen!
Semen Available
We are thrilled to be partnering with Bovine Elite and Integrated Breeders to offer Miniature Zebu semen to the public! Bovine Elite and Integrated Breeders are leaders in cattle reproduction and we are excited to be the first Miniature Zebu bull offered through their program.
HBarrera Ranch Boudreaux is early in his career as a sire, but his git are already making a big splash in the show pen! At 4 years old he stands 38 inches behind the hump and not quite 39 inches at the hip. AMZA and IMZA registered, we love the bone and proportionality he is stamping his babies with. His babies have been small at birth, and our smaller cows (and heifers) have had no issues. If you are looking to add substance, soundness, and sanity to your herd Boudreaux is a great fit!
We are happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Semen is available for $50/unit at Bovine Elite. You can reach them at 979-693-0388.
Junior Bull:
Born May of 2025, ATF Shooting Star Ranch Oakridge is by Master Champion Bull ATF Shooting Star Ranch Crosswired and out of Master Champion Producer, Triangle J Zebu Elvira Hancock.
This guy hit the ground and we knew he was something special. A beautifully built gray and white paint, "Oakie" will continue to be shown before hitting the breeding barn. We are excited about his future!
